our history

     It began in 1982 when God called Pastor Melvin to serve Him. Pastor Melvin saw in a vision that he was preaching before a multitude of people and saw deliverance in many.

     As he ministered in the Name of the Lord, many people were healed, delivered from drugs and demonic spirits, and multitudes are receiving salvation. By God’s grace, GIAMI was able to established outreaches in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon City, Isabela, Dagupan, Masbate, and Bicol provinces.

     In 1991, Pastor Melvin, Sis. Frozie and their 4 year old daughter Christine were called by God to come to United States by the help of the late Serafin Chavez of Cosmopolitan Evangelical Church. They were immigrants with a mission: to pursue God’s call by planting churches that will manifest God’s power, to save, heal, and deliver.

     They were able to start a church in San Diego, CA but in the following year, they moved to San Jose, CA to continue the ministry. They started with only seven members and conducted home bible studies/worship services in home and garages of their relatives and members.

     Today, 35 years later, we rejoice that GIAMI is an abiding testimony of His faithfulness. GIAMI is continually used by God to reach out lost souls, minister to the sick and needy, and people who are oppressed by demonic spirits.  Now, God is Able Ministry International has outreaches in San Diego County, CA,  Las Vegas, Nevada , Europe  and continually ministering to the body of Christ here in United States and abroad through Life Flow Missions.
